I feel that my student demo radio show has achieved and met the requirements of the unit brief as it is ~20 minutes long, has news update and includes relevant speech and music. All key features that were in the brief have been included in the show.
A major weakness was the news update, as I have not included jingle between the news stories, and overall the news part was not well presented. Another weakness would be the speech, as it sounded like I was reading the text from a paper.
My strengths would be music scheduling, radio script, software and equipment use. Most of these skills were improved while recording the show. Doing a practical makes it possible to see what works and what does not and gain valuable experience that can be implemented for the next show.

How suitable was your work for the intended purpose (i.e. as a student show for the college radio) and what makes it suitable?
The radio show was not very suitable for the college radio. It only had the topics, news and music that were relevant for the audience aged between 16-25 but not as a student show.
How well did you appeal to / meet the needs of your target audience? What were your audience's needs and what did you include in your show to meet those needs? How did you find out what your audiences needs were?
I have included in the show some of the relevant topics, which was about game industry. The music choice was hip-hop as it was the most popular genre among the target audience according to a survey. The news bulletin topics weren't all suitable to the target audience. Overall, radio show seems to be meeting audiences needs.

My Radio Show Demo has a structure like the professional shows' do; it has jingle/indent, signposting, audience interaction, news update etc.. Speech content of a radio feels like it is being read and does not always have a natural flow in comparison to a professional. It also needs to be improved to be more conversational. Music beds could have been added during speeches to make the radio sound more professional and entertaining.
